A vast amount of North American Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facilities of which a great many hail from Miami, Florida and who are either past or present clients of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group were all present and accounted for this three day event in Orlando, Florida, which commenced on April 25th and concludes on April 27th, 2017

This event which is held annually in April is present within such cities as Dallas, TX, New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA, Atlanta, GA and in Miami, Florida just to name a few. Miami, Florida saw the likes of the MRO Symposium back in April of 2015 and it appears that Miami may soon be up again the rotation to host the MRO in years to come

From our observation, the draw of the crowd for this year MRO event appears to have been well attended. Many Miami based MRO well known and respected names like AAR, Commercial Jet, FE Maintenance and others were all present as we were delighted in stopping by their booths to see old and familiar faces.

Both the 94th ACG and Mach One Aviation Services are always up to date on all related FAA published documents to include, but not limited to the latest Airworthiness Directives (A.D's), manufactures Service Bulletins (S.B's) and as shown above Advisory Circulars (A.C's)

Being well versed on the rigors of Crew Resource Management (CRM) for both civilian and military aircrews, as well being seasoned aviation risk management professionals, the 94th ACG has always advocated and press the local FAA about the concern of CRM within the maintenance realm of the local South Florida FAA, FAR-145 shops, as the "Dirty Dozen" as listed above is prevalent within the many heavy maintenance shops in Miami where many technicians work their primary jobs at one facility with many often "moon lighting" at a second facility back to back with no rest in between

Miami, Florida 20th April 2017: As the appointed Chair of of District Industry Advisory Board for the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College since 2013, Mr, Benny F. Benitez, Founder and CEO of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) has gone to great length to assist George T. Baker in securing and bring professional industry experienced professionals so as to apply their tutelage and experience for the benefit of the student body and faculty. Such is the case in recruiting and inviting Mr Jimmy Perez, owner of Mach One Aviation Services a respected and trusted aviation consultancy group who specializes in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations concerning the establishment and maintaining compliance of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR)-145 approved repair and overhaul facilities to sit on the board of advisers.
Jimmy proven and known talents and accomplishments are recognized and respected at local FAA Flight Standard District Office (FSDO)-19 of South Florida and with that level of respect and experience, the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College is greatly benefiting from it, as their FAA approved FAR-147 manual which stipulates Baker being an approved FAA maintenance training facility is being given a once over to ensure that what has been written and approved within the manual is in fact reflected in the actual day to day procedures and operational to ensure full adherence. The idea as created by Benny of the 94th ACG in working closely with Jimmy is to encourage and foster a sense regulatory awareness by the teachers undertaking monthly self audits of their class rooms and training areas so as to mimic what industry does in keeping regulation compliance. Talent and experience such as from either gentlemen and the other seasoned members of the advisory board is what give the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College a tremendous edge in keeping current with industry and ensures proper compliance all around.

The shop is owned and operated by Silvia Gutierrez one of the very few, professional women in an all male dominated world of FAA approved, FAR-145 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) business.

Since then the 94th ACG has helped out Barrington in many away possible, be it via small monetary donation so as to have sustained office operation in the early days to rally the many FAA, FAR-145 aviation repair and overhaul shops in and around Miami to collect donations to the most recent in the past few years securing aviation items for donation for now "Captain" Barrington Irvning non profit, aviation educational organization known as Experience Aviation. A long time supporter of the Eastern Airlines Flight 401 Tribute Group and an honorary member is Benny F. Benitez, Founder / CEO, Chief Consultant of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group. Benny and fellow colleague and friend Captain Catherine Smallwood who is also an honorary member herself have closely worked with Ron, Beverly and the rest of the group to support them since 2009.

Miami, Florida 23rd January 2017: As a supporter of the Eastern Airline Flight 401 Tribute Group since 2009, Mr. Benny F. Benitez the Founder / CEO and Chief Consultant of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) along with a dear friend and industry colleague, as well as an Associate Consultant to the 94th ACG, Captain Catherine Smallwood have supported Ron, Beverly and the rest of the group. The latest effort that Benny is spear heading is to find and hopefully secure a site so as to established and erect the memorial site.

This has been a daunting task for many years and with real-estate at a premium here in Miami, Florida and a general unawareness toward the significant that this crash contributed to the current day safety makes it a hard earn goal to reach. But Benny came up with and idea to see if maybe the memorial site could be established on the grounds of the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College along Le June Ave, just a stone throw from Miami International Airport. The angle that Benny is hopefully banking on is the issue of Crew Resource Management (CRM) a trait that is so important within the many sectors of aviation. Also, it would be of value for young, budding aviation professionals to be aware and have a critical understanding of how working as a team in talking to one another so as to achieve the goal of safety be it in the cockpit or on a maintenance team.

Not only was the engine properly appraised, the 94th ACG called upon their long time, world famous friend Captain Barrington Irving to see if they could help his "Experience Aviation organization" by providing a JT8D engine as a donation for instructional learning.
Captain Irving was delighted and long story short the engine has been donated to Dekalb, Georgia based McNAir High School located just outside of Atlanta for their budding aviation program, which is being supported and headed up by the Experience Aviation organization. When asked, Benny said, we always feel proud when our experience, tutelage and determination to do the job right has multiple benefits and expanding our influence and assistance to Atlanta, Georgia is an honor for us.

Key West, Florida 7-8th April 2016: As the saying goes within the commercial aviation insurance world that everything in motion is at risk and that holds true for the military sector of aviation and at a higher rated then the commercial field. In our constant support of the Department of Defense we were able to have provided our military aviation professional with an insight in looking at the inherit risks with maintenance operation around aircraft's.
Often the most profound problem with aviation risk is the issue of "routines" in as where people get too comfortable in doing a set procedures and dropping the guard of situation awareness.

Miami, Florida 15th March 2016: Before the attribute of generating revenue, the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) prides themselves as the sole and only, South Florida based, aviation and aerospace consultant group that through its established resources and reserves of well over a decade plus could place training and safety way before the need and priory of generating revenue.
This unorthodox approach is but one such qualities that distinguishes, the (94th ACG) from the rest, as our motto goes "Unlike Anything, Ready For Everything".

With said, the sense of training and safety is paramount and its one of the strong pillars of the group core values. The philosophy is simple, as consultants, the (94th ACG) must and has to maintain its leadership and primary associates well trained and update so as to best serve our clients. Whether its learning from the FAA on new safety programs like SAS, visiting various shops to learn of new test procedures, spending time with mechanics on various sorts of planes and engines all are mean to ensure that its leadership and associates maintain a current edge. With that said the sense of performing pre-buy evaluations, bank and lending appraisals on large commercial aircraft's are just but a few areas of the company expertise and forte that benefits from constant training.
Far too often colleagues who appears to provide the same services are not fully updated on mechanical or operational issues and often result in passing bad judgment or wort damage to equipment in which they are evaluating due to the lack of training.
That is way the (94th ACG) expends as much effort, time and resources to keep training and safety on the forefront of their operation. Despite being an old and a trusted workhorse, the Boeing 727 still has a global market presences and with past, current and future clients who calls on the (94th ACG) so as to undertake pre-buy inspection, operational evaluations and regulatory conformity inspection, knowing the 727 from all aspects makes it an added value for our clients.
