The world famous tool company (Snap On) an industry name within aviation was presented at the 2017 George T. Baker Aviation Technical College open house event
Former Baker graduate Mr. Michael Bischoff of Bischoff Aerospace was one of the local FAR-145 / MRO company which gave up their Saturday to support the event and give those in attendance a up close look and hands on a commercial jet engine
The technical talent that is comes from the students at Baker is first rate as evident by this home made robot which operates on remote sensor control. Mr. Howard Carter an accomplished avionics and electronic instructor at Baker is one of many corner stone of instructors who give their best for the benefit of the school
None Destructive Testing (NDT) is the word of the day and the specialty of yet another former Baker graduate Mr. Juan Avcedo from Avi-NDT was present at the event and displayed the many high technical test and inspection tools utilized within the field of NDT
Miami, Florida 4th February 2017: Saturday February 4th saw the doors at George T. Baker Aviation Technical College open to the public in their annual open house event. This year event as with so many in previous years drew record attendance by the public who come to see and marvel at what goes on here and learn as to what Baker has to offer.
Current students bring their family members, potential new students who plan to come to Baker attend, as well as adults having a career change all come to see first hand. The college open house ofter something for everyone and few leave disappointed and many leave amazed. As with every year Baker is fortunate to have many of their former students and graduates who are now aviation business owners come and support the annual event with hands displays concerning the expertise and forte, as well as show those who are there now that the are within a place that will give them everything that they will need to succeed in aviation. We encourage all to consider coming to next year event and see for yourself as to what makes the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College a gem within the South Florida aviation community.
