Despite a 2010 and partially 2011 pause in the group effort to erect a public memorial and raise awareness to the lost of Eastern Airlines Flight 401 which occurred thirty-nine (39) years ago occurred due to the personal and business schedules of its members. The group is now back on track thanks to the effort of the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group who arranged for the NBC-6 new telecast to broadcast the group effort.
(94th ACG) Founder and CEO Benny Benitez personal and professional relationship with NBC-6 News and Reporter Willard Shepard was a tremendous help and a key factor to re-kicking off a well worth and professional effort.
It should be noted that the crash of Eastern Airline Flight 401, thirty nine years was the reason for the formation and creation of what is now known in the industry and to every cockpit flight crew as "Crew Resource Management" CRM and the presence of "Emergency Flashlights" at the flight attendants seat stations within the passenger cabin.
