Miami, Florida 11th July, 2013: We at the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) are happy to bring our audience an update on the 2013 U.S. Coast Guard HU-16 / George T. Baker Aviation School project. As our audience may recall, this project commenced at the onset of 2013 and despite a few logistical delays, the progress is visually evident.
Special thanks and appreciation is being rendered onto George T. Baker Aviation School Instructor Mr. Rick Flores who adult A&P students applied the U.S. Coast Guard Red paint as the 1960's paint scheme is being created by the student to correctly present the HU-16 nose section as it would have looked some 40 plus years ago, when Grumman HU-16 aircraft operated out from Coconut Grove, U.S. Coast Guard Air Station before transferring to Opa Locka Airport where Coast Air Station Miami currently operates from.
We shall continued to provide updates until finial completion of the project which is anticipated by the middle of the 3rd quarter of this year.
