The HU-25 undertake many law enforcement missionsOpa Locka, Florida 2nd June 2009: In their never ending support toward those who protect our Nations boarders and interest, the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) is establishing a professional relationship with the United States Coast Guard Air Station Miami to provide a supplementary training factor toward their Crew Resource Management (CRM) training for the flight crews.
Blending the real life experience of actually meeting and speaking to survivors of well established and studied commercial airline crashes such as Eastern Airlines Flight 401, the 1972 crash of a Lockheed L-1011, which established and started (CRM).
The (94th ACG) is closely working with the Air Station Flight Safety Department to blend their experience, contacts and training materials from the commercial airline realm so as to "enhance" the U.S.C.G. Aircrews training syllabus for their safety stand down training period.
The Command at Air Station Miami is both supportive and appreciative of the (94th ACG) efforts. As multi-mission / multi-talented organization, the (94th ACG) taps and draws upon their past and established military experience in such areas as aviation training, maintenance, operations and mission planning, especially with squadron level safety stand downs.
Also, in another project of which the (94th ACG) is possibly to undertake, concerns the training of the Panamanian Self Defense Force in a general safety / risk reduction familiarization (FAM) course toward safe aviation operation for their fleet consisting of civilian helicopters and small general aviation aircraft's, the U.S. Coast Guard has indicated that they would be able to assist the (94th ACG) with their project concerning the Panamanian Self Defense Force.
