94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consulting Group Surveys The Only Airworthy Grumman G-21A Goose in Miami, Florida

A trait of all seaplanes, the location of the engine throttles on the overhead of the cockpit. Shown here are the Goose two engine throttle and mixture levers
Shown is the Goose small, but spacious cabin area which is able to seat a total of six passenger and with 300Lbs of baggage /cargo within the cargo hold behind the oval door
Unlike today modern aircraft, which on could find at least on CRT display screen, the Grumman Goose is a truly a classic of "steam dials and clocks" Show here is the pilots controls
An unmistakable and striking profile of the Grumman Goose as she sittings on the rain slick ramp at Miami Executive Fix Base Operator at Opa Locka Airport
N119AA is one of very few fully airworthy Grumman Goose which still graces our skies and remind us of time long gone were aviation and maritime both shared a common bond

This forward nose view show the boat hull fuselage and its retractable landing gears very similar in appearance and mechanical nature to another famous Grumman aircraft, the Grumman F4F Wildcat, the stubby and tough Navy carrier fighter of World War II.
A tremendous level appreciation toward Captain Jack Bentcourt, the Goose rated pilot who show us around and explained the many attribute of the aircraft with great interest and impeccable detail. Captain Jack has a long and establish level of experience flying seaplanes

Opa Locka, Florida (KOPF) July 29th 2009: As the world famous motto that of a U.S. Post Office intrepid mail carriers to deliver the mail in any weather condition, the 94th AeroClaims-Aviation Consultant Group (94th ACG) subscribes to the same notion, as not even the dynamic summer weather of Miami was able to keep the (94th ACG) from taking full advantage of an invite to survey and review South Florida only airworthy Grumman Goose.
Arriving on the tail end of passing rain shower, the (94th ACG) was given full access to see the aircraft up close and in her full splendor.
As amazing as the aircraft is up close so is its history and its operational life. Originally, commission by the 1930's money moguls of Wall Street as an amble means to "commute" from lower Manhattan to their many mansions on Long Island, Grumman Aircraft was task to create what become the "Goose" The Goose marked many first for the Grumman Corporation, as it was Grumman's first twin engine aircraft and Grumman only aircraft that enter world airline service. N119AA made her way to Miami from Colombia after spending a great deal of time well preserved in an aviation museum after ending one if its operational chapters in Colombia.
The aircraft was purchased and impeccability restored by Mr. Roberto Gomez (Pilot) and his crew of "aviation artisan's" and thus brought to Miami, ferried by Captain Jack. N119AA will soon grace the skies over Miami carrying sightseeing passenger from the world famous "Watson Island" the United States oldest seaplane base known on the charts as "X44".
As a footnote, the aircraft has already caught the attention of the world famous actor and accomplished pilot John Travolta when pasting through Miami Executive when recently visiting the Miami area.
Currently, the (94th ACG) is assisting the "Miami Seaplane Base" group and Mr. Roberto Gomez to sort out a flurry of regulatory, insurance and risk management issues prior to commencement of pending sightseeing flights.
